Huh?
I understood it perfectly.
What is so confusing about "This update will replace your audio drivers." ?. In english, this means that "this update will replace your audio drivers".
What is so confusing about "If you use CloverALC for Realtek onboard audio, no changes may be necessary." ?. In English, this means that "if you use CloverALC for Realtek onboard audio, no changes may be necessary".
In other words, "This update (10.11.1) will replace your audio drivers. If you use the CloverALC command (well documented everywhere) for patching your Realtek onboard audio, then you may not have to worry about the fact that this update replaces your audio drivers as CloverALC patch takes care of it.
No need to be pedantic.
"Will" would be better, it is authoratitive and definitive, whereas "may" is ambiguous and uncertain. The subtleties of English which make all the difference; I am an Englishman living in a quiet English village, born in England, and I speak absolutely perfect English, so if *I* see ambiguity, it could only degrade from there. I can assure you that a tiny bit of pedantry from me, will save your readers some confusion, take my word for it.
Many thanks
