So I currently have Yosemite running fine on my hardware, but I need to install high sierra for work reasons.
So I got a second SSD, and used the standard guide to install mac os onto the disk. Everything worked fine, I can boot into the OS with the bootstick.
I ran multibeast and only selected legacy boot mode and the generic SATA drivers I think.
But when I reboot all I see is a blinking cursor.
It's been a while since I last fiddled with this stuff so I'm a little rusty. Could I just use all the kext files from my running yosemite installation? What else could cause the issue here?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
