Welcome to the forum.

I have seen this when my config.plist file does not contain:

<key>KernelAndKextPatches</key>
<dict>
<key>FakeCPUID</key>
<string>0x0506E3</string>

Good modding,

I had this issue when my bios settings (specifically USB settings ) are wrong. Basically the USB ports all shut down and since i was booting from USB ... no more progress!

Should be easy to see this one. Anything plugged into USB loses power right after logo loads, no lights no nothing.

Check your bios settings.

Also, Read BreBo's response here:

Hi could you please explain in more detail how I do this because I copied and paste the code into a notepad++ document and boot it again and got an error.

When you use editors to change config.plist (or any plist) you should run the terminal.app and check the plist file for errors. Save the config.plist to the desktop. Then in terminal.app change directory to the Desktop; without the quotes "cd Desktop" then "plutil config.plist". Fix any error the plutil identifies.

Although you should download the Xcode app from the App Store (it is free) and spend some time playing with plist editing. The Xcode plist editor helps you avoid inserting errors, but it has a learning curve.

The attached config.plist is an example with the FakeCUPID edit included.
