Hey all,

Attached are the images from when I try to boot. This happens after the third boot from clean install where the third boot shows the Apple symbol, progress bar, then shuts down again. Catalina works great minus the specific kexts specifically for Monterey. I can include the EFI if needed.

HP laptop
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200U with Radeon Vega Mobile GFX
GPU: AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics
Opencore: 0.7.8 debug
SMBIOS: MacBookAir9,1

No chance using unsupported AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics.

Okay, I can try hiding the GPU through an SSDT, but Catalina works fine with the only change being I add the ported SATA kext for Monterey.

So just an update, I’ve basically given up on Monterey and continue to fine tune Catalina. I got a hard drive caddy that connects to the DVD drive slot, running Catalina on a partition in there and works great. Still can’t see the SSD and the hard drive in the caddy started showing up as USB external, maybe from re-mapping USB ports, but it’s minor.
