hi, I'm using voodoohda to solve the audio problem.
applealc took me for 4 days, so I decided to use voodoohda

I've got the same sound card, ALC233. My sound is working but the mic does not.

on my HP Elitebook never got the internal mic working so I used the voodooHDA and the external mic works
I use a iPhone head phone mic and works great.
