Apparently in an advertising mistake, Google Maps' new website images clearly show a Samsung Chromebook laptop running Mac OS X.

Note the 3 little traffic light buttons in the upper left corner, that are supposed to be shaded out.

Thats Chrome on OSX not Safari, but none the less its very entertaining. Wonder if it was photoshopped on a mac from a screenshot of the browser so they couldn't show the Linux or Windows versions of Chrome.

That's supposed to be a chromebook, so running google's own OS. So they SHOULDN'T need a photo from a Mac or a Windows Box.

This could be proof Chromebooks are hackinotshable.!

Target did the same thing last year with a Acer Netbook clearly running Snow Leopard and even showing the default Snow Leopard background.

Probably more proof that the marketing guys are on Macs and just screenshotted and stuck it onto the Chromebook in Photoshop. Happens all the time. Or maybe it's because, to most people who don't know the technical details, OS X just looks better?
