I have have had no luck booting with an alternate bootloader. I can get loaded into Menu, and boot, but hangs at:

"vboxadpdrv: version 4.1.8 r75467" or "Resetting IOCatalogue"

I can boot no problems with my unibeast usb/install key.

Looks like my system stalls at the apple logo and spinning wheel. When using verbose it hangs at the above line...unless it takes 10+ minutes to boot (as it hangs and does not boot). I wouldn't say that was normal and unless I am being impatient. I also get the same result with clover, chameleon. I can boot no problems with my unibeast usb/install/chimera key. I currently boot using PCIRootUID=0 with the unibeast usb to boot with no problems.

Please bear in mind, the system hangs and does not boot when using Clover as well. I have never installed my bootloader on my system as it boots fine with the unibeast/Chimera USB stick and do not wish to risk installing until I am 100% confident of keeping my system stable:)

I have also tried removing all accessories :) and booting safe mode :)

Anyone able to help?

All,

Gonna go out on a limb here and assume nobody can help me:(

In that case could anyone let me know:

If it seems I am indeed unable to boot my system with an alternate bootloader?

Am I missing something?

Should I reinstall?

Should I use a different method of installation other than Unibeast?

Upon reinstallation should I use an alternate bootloader?

Thanks in advance for any help:)

OMG...I have been an idiot.... Figured out the reason I could not boot from anything but my USB install stick was because I already had installed a boot loader when I ran multi beast the first time. Such a simple thing but if I removed the USB and went hands off it boot right up with no issues. Everything works, sleep, USB 3.0, iMessage, everything. Hope this helps someone, I know I could not have done this without all the help I received:)
