Older mac hardware?

This may an unbelievably stupid question....but I'm not shy, so....is there anything to prevent my using the hackintosh methods to install the latest Mojave on old mac hardware (e.g. 2011 Mac mini) that Apple doesn't allow to update to Mojave?

A 2011 Mac mini doesn't have supported graphics or wifi for Mojave - a wifi card could be replaced but there is little point in having a computer running an OS without graphics support. I am sure that the internet has other ways of installing macOS onto unsupported hardware - even if it is just as a home experiment for fun rather than to have a usable machine.
