Hello,
I have a fairly old desktop that I wanted to try to convert into to OSX for web dev purposes.
Currently I'm running Xubuntu, but I like the idea of OSX to match my laptop and have same environments.
I've seen multiple buyer's guides and lists to build a hack, but I was wondering if there is a list of all previous components that are compatible? and if the components affect the installation method and components you can have?
Just in case, my components are:
Video : EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti 2048MB GDDR5
CPU : Intel Core i5-2400 Quad-Core Processor 3.1
Power : OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with
MotherBoard : Asus MAXIMUS V GENE Z77 mATX DDR3 Intel LGA 1155 Motherboard
HDD : Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive
SSD : SanDisk SSD PLUS 120GB Solid State Drive
RAM : Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin (which I would maybe upgrade to 16 or 32)
