Old Contacts won't sync over iCloud. New ones do.

Hey,

I got a weird problem with the Contacts app. It does not show any "old" contacts (ie non on first start) from my iCloud account. If I add contacts they show up in my other devices fine and new contacts created on other devices also sync back to my Mac. I already tried all the basics (restart, disable icloud, reenable icloud, disable only contacts, reenable contacts) - nothing. I also tried this http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203257 method but the command defaults delete com.apple.SyncServer SyncServicesResetWorldRunOnce does not seem to work in Yosemite. Any suggestions? Basically, I just want my Mac to refetch all iCloud contacts (ie a start with nothing and recreate everything from iCloud).

Are the old contacts actually in icloud? Goto icloud.com and check.

They are, in iCloud.com, on my iPhone and iPad and real MacBook. All sync perfectly but my Hackintosh.
