Are you booting with both cards installed? If so try just one at a time.

IIRC, the 550 Ti will require GraphicsEnabler=Yes while the 970 requires GE=No. Two different technologies where each requires a different setting. Try GE=Yes first. Maybe a miracle will happen.

No only booting with one card installed. Id like to use the 970 as my main card in this setup here the 550ti was just to figure out whats up.

Yeah GraphicsEnabler=Yes worked with the 550ti and Web Drivers  Maybe the 970 will work with this too ? Ive benn using the GE=No always with the 970. Cant figure that out currently the 970 is with a friend while im on holidays will report back when i get my baby back

however thx for ur help until now

EDIT:

Got my baby back and guess what: my GTX970 Needs GraphicsEnabler=Yes to work with the nvidia web drives.. GraphicsEnabler=No results in a black Screen and the no signal issue ...

Hi guys!

I ve been updating my hack to 10.10.5 now but after updating the graphics drivers to the newest ones
i think its 343.02.03f01 im again experiencing the no signal issue. I can still access the hack via VNC but the weirdest part of all this is: Monitor settings show an Integrated Screen ?! WTF can anyone help ??
Im ****ing confused now. can this be a wrong BIOS Setting? my GTX 550ti is experiencing the same issue -.-
Screens attached !

Thanks for your help !

I'm having the exact same issue as you. My build:

Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H
i7-4790
970
10.10 (15A284)
Using MacPro6,1 definition

Have clover installed. When I put with nv_disable=1, I can see the screen but it's very sluggish. When I boot with nvda_drv=1, I get a black screen but can VNC in and see that it recognizes the 970 with 4095 MB of RAM (instead of 4096 for some reason).

My display says "unknown display" but appears integrated like yours. I have two 27" monitors connected via DVI. When I have nv_disable=1 set and I can get in, it only shows the display on my first monitor.

Currently on Nvidia driver 346.03.02f02.

I'm hesitant to try iMac definitions instead because I don't want to break my iMessage/iCloud.

EDIT:

Fixed it. See here for instructions: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...idia-graphic-card-problem-monitor-sleeps.html

First post on that page. Basically, you need to modify a line in the AppleGraphicsControl.kext file. If you are using the MacPro6,1 definition like me, this one should work.

You can use KextBeast with this file on your desktop and it will install it, but you'll need to delete the original first (here: /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext)

Everything works now.
