Is it critical that my 980ti Graphics card is Gigabyte or EVGA branded? Will and MSI 980 ti work with the web drivers?

Hi, I am successfully running on 10.8.2 for some time and would like to upgrade to Sierra.

I am not sure about current GPU support, will my Geforce GTX 560 work off the shelf, do I need these drivers, or there is no chance for this?

If not, what is the safest option for GPU for a reasonable price (ideally NVIDIA).
