Its a pity that OSX native does not control this properly in native supported cards.

I have installed the web drivers and I just get a black screen right about when the progress indicator get half way under the apple.

In one of these forums I heard about a VBIOS ROM file that may need to be loaded. Does that still apply for EL CAPITAN?

Finally got it working! It seems that it was working all along. I was connected to the wrong display port. It only works when your monitor is connected to the VGA port, it does not work with the DVI port.

BTW - I tried the Palit ROM, Bricked my card. Lucky I made a backup of the original rom and was able to boot with the Motherboard display adapter into windows uninstall the Nvidia drivers(they were causing my system to freeze). Then run NVFLASH to get it back in working order.
