I installed Nvidia Web Driver - 346.03.02f02 this morning and now I cant boot up :// I tried to boot using nv_disable but that doesn’t work either.

Was working just fine before the update. What it does is it fills like an eighth if the loading bar and then restarts. But right before it restarts I can see the mouse cursor in the top left corner of my screen.

Any thoughts?

I have nv GTX660 and i7 4770k

I just installed new web driver and cinebench show better results:

1. Native OSX driver FPS 100.62
2. WebDriver 346.03.02f02 FPS 111.82

:headbang:

Try booting with only 1 dvi.

Go to Clover configurator and change your symbios.

According to Nvidia site:
Release Notes Archive:
This driver update is for Mac Pro 5,1 (2010), Mac Pro 4,1 (2009) and Mac Pro 3,1 (2008) users.

BETA support is for iMac 14,2 / 14,3 (2013), iMac 13,1 / 13,2 (2012) and MacBook Pro 11,3 (2013), MacBook Pro 10,1 (2012), and MacBook Pro 9,1 (2012) users.

Mac Pro 5,1 gave my system kernal panics. Mac Pro 3,1 the way to go for me. My system, Gigabyte Z97 UD5HBK GTX970.

Hope this helps.

I have this same issue with my Geforce gt 740. But i already have my smbios set to Mac Pro 3,1. Any other suggestions?

edit: i noticed that it says i have 0mb memory. could this have something to do with it?

UPDATE (SOLVED): just found this suggestion of removing inject nvidia form the config.plist over on this thread and i tried and it worked. http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...740-not-recognized-10-10-3-a.html#post1023283

Installed on i-7 4970k, Z97-SLI, GTX780 CINEBENCH R15 went from 107.97 to 124.42 fps after the web driver. Used nvda_drv=1 and it correctly show that nvidia driver is in used in the preference.

Finaly all work's good with new driver for I7 ant GTX750 TI with nv_drv=1 and SYMBIOS 14.2.

Installed from web and went rebooting system hangs on Clover after I choose Option 1 (Boot Mac OSX from El Capitan).

I installed to try and get 2 Apple Cinema displays going on my PNY GTX 550 Ti.

Anyway to back this out?

Upgrading from Yosemite 10.0.5 to El Capitain sleep stop working.
I have a GTX260. If I install the Nvidia Web driver could I fix this issue?

So far I can only boot with a GTX 970 in El Capitan using "npci=0x2000" in clover, and even then there is no acceleration (no transparency, artefacts after animations).
Clover is configured with "kext-dev-mode=1 nvda_drv=1 npci=0x2000 dart=0". Any ideas?

Edit: it finally worked with Solution #4 from http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/161256-solving-nvidia-driver-install-problems.html.
Additionally I have set SMBIOS to IMac 14,1, set clover to use flags "arch=x86_64 npci=0x2000 dart=0 nvda_drv=1 kext-dev-mode=1", removed "darkwake".
