NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (387.10.10.10.40)

I am not going to update any new patches unless I see an update in Nvidia driver. Or else have to buy an AMD card, thats pretty much the only alternative.

Same.

I wonder if it's a good idea to get an AMD card for Mac and continue using the Nvidia card for Windows. (I have dual boot.)

It should be okay as long as you put the AMD on the first slot. I believe from what I read that Mac only looks at the first slot. Once getting AMD card, I guess we can upgrade to Mojave at the very least.

Hello, how you doing? I installed a Gygabyte GTX 1080, but my computer does not recognize it, before this card, i have an nvidia quadro K5000 for MAC, my question is why the gtx is not recognized, I attach screenshots. My other question is if i have to uninstall the nvidia quadro or if I can have connected both. I hope you could help me. Thank you very mucho.

may somebody know how to fix it?
Wow that's the first update to 10.13.6 in 2018. May be something got updated recently? May be you should update to 17G11023 and use Web Driver 387.10.10.40.134 instead.

If I am not mistaken, you are on High Sierra.? My suggestion is to make a backup before you do anything. If you have time machine on, may be you go restore back to when you have everything working perfect. At least back up the data you have. From what I see, you are missing out on all the security updates for 10.13.6 for the entire 2019 and the first one in 2020.
