I can't belive I didn't read this thread yesterday... I built a new Coffee Lake PC yesterday, did a clean macOS install and after installed WebDriver there was this crazy lag everywhere. I thought something is wrong with my new Clover config or it's related to some problems with 8th gen Intel processors. But no... so much time wasted last night.... damn
Apple opened a can of worms with 10.13.3. There's obviously a leak with WindowServer and nVidia drivers (even their native ones).
I think nVidia needs to talk to Apple and get their drivers fixed. I think they have major issues with each other. I don't understand why they don't just talk like grown people and get this resolved once and for all.
macOS High Sierra officially supports eGPU's now, that means you can stick in an nVidia GPU in a TB3 external box and have it work with macOS. GPU drivers should work easily with macOS and this walled garden mentality needs to open up with at least the GPUs.
