NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.4 (346.01.03)

I'm already using nvda_drv=1

So you are saying it doesn't matter what it shows there? Web driver is already applied?

Yes, that is correct. It would be VERY obvious if the driver wasn't being applied, it simply wouldn't boot or if it did boot the UI would be extremely laggy.

Thanks for clarification

They should go back a long ways of it is anything like Windows drivers. The most current drivers in Windows support ALL NVidia cards no matter how old. I've used the web drivers with a GTX 285 before but that was when running Lion on a Mac Pro 1,1.

Thanks SJ ...

Thats good to know will suggest he gives them a go ...

Cheers

Just a heads up, NVIDIA has released a newer version of the driver (346.02.02f02) for OS X 10.10.4. Hopefully this fixes the weird pattern corrupted images that I see sometimes.

Anyone having issues with Safari quiting after updating to the new web driver?

EDIT: It also has appeared to have affected video playback with in Safari as well. Trying to watch this video with 346.02.02f02 installed doesn't work. I downgraded back to 346.01.03f01 and the video works fine.

Yes, very frequent Safari (Version 8.0.7 (10600.7.12) crashes updating from 346.01.03f01 to 346.02.02f02 through NVIDIA Driver Manager.

I reinstalled 346.01.03f01 and everything seems to be in good shape again.
