There are currently only 2 displays.
1920x1080p.

They are identical and both support DVI and HDMI (plus vga but that is not gonna happen).

I am also looking to get rid of one of these and get a 1440p or 21:9 monitor.

So I'm not sure if I understand your issue... your GTX 970 has 2 DVI ports...both monitors support DVI. I don't see a problem here....If you get a 1440p, that would connect to the DP (or if your 1440p supports HDMI 2.0, then connect to HDMI port).

Alright, so I shouldnt have ANY problems getting this system to work, then?

If you do your research and follow the various build and device installation instructions carefully, you should have a very powerful system....

A powerful system does not necessarily make it stable and compatible. Do you think a beginner can do this without much struggle?

How is it with bluetooth for connecting the magic mouse up etc?
Is there an adapter for my onboard wifi to get it to work?

To be honest, you're going off-topic here. This thread is about the new NVIDIA web drivers for Yosemite that include GeForce 970/980 support. Post 196 and the quoted post above don't belong here because you're asking about an entire build's compatibility (of which the 970 is only a small part) and other off-topic features.

If you want more information and assistance with your build, please post a new discussion topic over in one of several places:

Thanks Flo655, what is your system definition?, I'm on an iMac 14,2 clover install, should I change to MacPro3,1?
Same here, iMac 14,2 and Clover bootloader. What is your issue?

Some people say that the 970 is not supported and that I should avoid it, other says it is fine.

WILL THE ZOTAC 970 WORK WITH YOSEMITE?

ps. asking on the buying advice and compatibility forum is of no use. I have posted 4 threads there in total, and received 0 replies over the last couple of months.

It will work, however based on the card design you will face issue with HDMI (reference design having it for sure)

Tony, by any chance have you tried Final Cut Pro X? Your build seems very similar to mine, specially the GPU and I can't make it work. I tried these drivers on Mavericks (the Mavericks version of course) and it didn't fix Final Cut.

I was wondering if this would fix the issue now that I'm in Yosemite?
