I have the same Asus Strix GTX 960 card.

I'm using a 4K monitor (Dell UP2414Q) via DisplayPort, but in OS X, it only runs at 30Hz.

Could any one give a hint on how to resolve this? Thanks!

With new driver released by Nvidia my card now is recognized by GTX 960 in stead of Nvidia Graphics Driver. I have a 2008 Mac Pro 8 Core. THANKS NVIDIA! Thank you guys for the info to get this working on my Mac :headbang::headbang::headbang::mrgreen:

Hi do you know which GTX 960 card you used and did you use clover or chimera?:?:
I have a Mac Pro 2008 8 Core . I'm using the Strix Asus Gtx 960. Since I'm using an Apple computer no need for clover or chimera. You will need this for a Hackintosh build from what I understand.

I didn't realize that the GTX 960 4GB cards were now available until recently.

Anyway, I was thinking of buying another GTX 960 card beside the MSI version I have in a dedicated Windows 7 Media Center System. Would there be any advantage to buying a 4GB version or would there be any disadvantages with respect to current functionality as well as future support?

I'm guessing its safer to go with the standard 2GB version again,....

Why is this Card in the March build guide if it's not fully supported yet?

There's a disclaimer:

All of the GeForce 'Maxwell' based graphics cards listed here besides the GeForce 'Kepler' based GT 740 require alternate NVIDIA graphics drivers to enable full acceleration. See here for details. Please note these cards will only work with OS X Yosemite.

And installing nvidia web drivers is really a piece of cake. So to me it's on the same level as fully supported kepler card.

Well, said. Additionally, Apple's OS X only supports the Mac hardware that Apple markets - no Maxwell chipsets in any Macs yet.
