I have the same Asus Strix GTX 960 card.
I'm using a 4K monitor (Dell UP2414Q) via DisplayPort, but in OS X, it only runs at 30Hz.
Could any one give a hint on how to resolve this? Thanks!
With new driver released by Nvidia my card now is recognized by GTX 960 in stead of Nvidia Graphics Driver. I have a 2008 Mac Pro 8 Core. THANKS NVIDIA!
I have a Mac Pro 2008 8 Core . I'm using the Strix Asus Gtx 960. Since I'm using an Apple computer no need for clover or chimera. You will need this for a Hackintosh build from what I understand.Hi do you know which GTX 960 card you used and did you use clover or chimera?![]()

All of the GeForce 'Maxwell' based graphics cards listed here besides the GeForce 'Kepler' based GT 740 require alternate NVIDIA graphics drivers to enable full acceleration. See here for details. Please note these cards will only work with OS X Yosemite.
Well, said. Additionally, Apple's OS X only supports the Mac hardware that Apple markets - no Maxwell chipsets in any Macs yet.eebec said:There's a disclaimer:

And installing nvidia web drivers is really a piece of cake. So to me it's on the same level as fully supported kepler card.
