Hi folks,
Thanks in advance for any help!
Long time builder, first time poster; apologies if this is in the wrong place or needs extra info/formatting etc. Just let me know and I will try and rectify
Mobo: ASUS P7P55D-E PRO
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT
I have used this exact build successfully for several previous OSX versions, and have never really had to even stray from the guides (kudos to the community for making it so smooth!) but I missed a few updates after Mavericks so decided to go for a clean slate install this time (especially with the switch to Clover).
Unfortunately, I am getting the following kernel panic on boot, and cannot get to the install screen:
View media item 188188
I have tried every possible thing I can think of and/or find in the forums, and I am out of ideas
- always using verbose and safe boot
various combinations of:
- nv_disable 1 and 0
- GraphicsEnabler=Yes and No
- various maxmen settings, and also reducing to a single stick of RAM
- tried video card in different slot
Unfortunately my mobo does not have onboard video, so that's not an option, either.
Any input or ideas at all, at this point, would be HUGELY appreciated!
Thanks again,
Shawn
