Good morning everybody!

I have recently installed MacOSX Sierra in my computer using Clover 2.3k here are my specs:

MB: Gigabyte z170x
Video: Gigabyte 980GTX ti
Core: Intel 67000k Skylake

I have been experiencing different issues that i got to solve thanks to your page and to several other post and videos, I´ve got to solve mostly 90% of them but....

After installing 100 Series Audio and VodooHDA 2.8.6 / By only using this kexts Ive got no sound.

After I installed Toledas audio_cloverHDMI-120.command. typing yes to both questions

I rebooted and I got audio, anyway there is some kind of white noise anytime MacOSX reproduces a sound ( like frog, beep etc ). And everytime i play a song or a video the sound slowly fades higher, I have no sound control also.

This is my clover Acpi config.plist

I know this is not a critical issue, but honestly is pretty annoying

¿ Is there somebody out there experiencing the same problem as me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi again Toleda and thank you for your rapid response.

Actually I tried what you said, with this different combinations:

  • Uninstall Voodoohda 2.8.6 and install 100 series with multibeast + execute audio_cloverHDMI-120.command = No audio ( No audio devices detected )
  • Install only voodoo + execute audio_cloverHDMI-120.command = Same buggy audio with white noise and volume fading up when starting a video or a song
  • After this I tried to install the legacy AppleHDA.kext ( using easykext ) + 100 series audio with multibeas = I got a kernel panic and I had to install again the whole OS.

I don't want to go ahead and keep on trying different combinations of kext without making some research before. As I consider my system is clean now ( after trying many things on the first install, for sure Clover was full of entries and kexts that were struggling in the boot sequence )

Im attaching my config.plist in case somebody wants to have a look

Thank you for your time

Hi Toleda,

You will find attached my IOREG file

By

unfixable, clean install

You mean that there is no option to fix this? Right now I'm running on a clean install, I did not install any audio drivers yet.

I did install nvidias web drivers

Do I have to reinstall MacOS again? which drivers should I use or avoid in my installation ?

For more info this is the drivers that I used in my Bootable USB´s clover 2.3k installation ( EFI partition )

This are the ones that I used for this install into /EFI/CLOVER/kexts
