Hello,

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 and I can get video to my HDTV via HDMI, but not audio. When I hold down alt/option and press the audio icon on the top right, I don't see an option for my HDTV. I'm on Mac OX 10.9.4. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Some of my other hardware is:
- Gigabyte Motherboard GA-Z87-HD3
- Intel Core i5-4430

Today I updated to OS X 10.9.5 and used MultiBeast 6.5 to install the Realtek ALC892 driver. I also installed the latest NVIDIA driver (334.01.03f01), but still no audio through HDMI. My computer speakers work, but System Preferences -> Sound -> Output does not list my HDTV as an option. I can get video on my HDTV, but not audio.

Thanks for the reply. I've actually been working on [Guide]_HD4600-hdmi_audio_(dsdt_or_ssdt)_v2.pdf.zip, but I'm stuck on the first step:

Step 1: HD4600 HDMI Audio kext edits
  1. AppleHDA.kext (select one)
    1. toleda/audio_RealtekALC (HD4600 HDMI audio/yes)
    2. toleda/audio_pikeralphaALC (-b AppleHDA -b AppleHDAController)
    3. toleda/audio_CloverALC (config.plists/KextsToPatch)
    4. MultiBeast 6.0 or newer (patched)
    5. Native AppleHDA.kext
      1. 10.10/HD4600: audio_hdmi_hd4600- hda-100_patch.command.zip
      2. 10.9/HD4600: audio_hdmi_hd4600- hda-90_v2_patch.command.zip

I'm able to use MaciASL to download the the repository from https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_8series/master. I found /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext on my hard drive, but I have no idea what to do with it.

I have a somewhat separate question. Assuming I can get this to work, will it support 'Drift Correction' for 'Multi-Output Device'?

Well, at least it's more in sync than Windows, but not perfect...
