Hello, i have a question i have a 10.8.2 hackintosh with my GTX 560. Two monitors are connected and I have here same "problem" like on Windows. When I have connected 2 monitors GPU have highest frequency so, temperature is around 50 celsia. On the Windows you can fix it with Nvidia utility for down-clock your video card if you do not need it. Something on hackintosh? Thank you!

using two monitors should not be any load problem to your GPU. Even a low end card can handle that without breaking a sweat. Your perception of temp is wrong. 50c is totally normal under room temperature of around 30c. You might need to take a look at your desktop. It might be too cluttered and providing good airflow.

Underclocking just for dual monitor is bad. Imagine playing games. That would be even worst.
