I saw this over at MacRumor's Mac Pro forum today. Tomorrow is March 23, 2018. I assume this at Nvidia's on line store.

Head's up for anyone looking - NVIDIA will have stock of the GTX 1080 FE available tomorrow. I'm sure they'll sell out quickly, but no premium charge if buying from NVIDIA directly (should be $549). Works great with MacPro5,1 (and others) if you use a dual mini 6-pin to single 8-pin power cable and NVIDIA web drivers.

Sold out. ...and, no, I didn't get one...I was too late. Nuts!

First post here, and I want to thank you in advance.

I have been shopping video cards as the first step in building a Hackintosh, and was searching these forums this morning to see if my question had been previously asked -- "I notice NVIDA brand chips are not listed in the shopping list with Gigabyte (et al), and was curious if the cards bought directly from NVIDA were supported?" I think that presence of this thread answers that.

Thank you again so very much.
