After installing OS X 10.10/Yosemite final and the latest web drivers from Nvidia I figured I should try my 750 Ti which I've had lying on my desk for half a year now (or thereabouts).
Work pretty well except the fans where running at full speed. Noisy!
Went through the ropes trying to figure this out, including swiching from iMac13,2 to MacPro3,1 thru 5,1 and various tweaks to AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext to no avail.
After spending too much time on this I finally figured I should try to find out where that GeforceSensors thing I saw in the dmesg log came from.
Long story short / TL;DR: Deleting GeforceSensors.kext from the plugins directory of FakeSMC.kext fixed it.
Maybe I have a really old FakeSMC version installed?
