After installing OS X 10.10/Yosemite final and the latest web drivers from Nvidia I figured I should try my 750 Ti which I've had lying on my desk for half a year now (or thereabouts).

Work pretty well except the fans where running at full speed. Noisy!

Went through the ropes trying to figure this out, including swiching from iMac13,2 to MacPro3,1 thru 5,1 and various tweaks to AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext to no avail.

After spending too much time on this I finally figured I should try to find out where that GeforceSensors thing I saw in the dmesg log came from.

Long story short / TL;DR: Deleting GeforceSensors.kext from the plugins directory of FakeSMC.kext fixed it.

Maybe I have a really old FakeSMC version installed?

I seem to be in the same boat, but I can not find the GeForceSenors.kext.

Can you please explain where to find it?

Just to update:
I am running on Ozmosis 1479 and replaced the hwsensors kexts.
Fans are running slow now, although the reading says 19 rpm.

Anyway, machine works ok, so no more fiddling for the moment.
