Recently had my drive wiped and upgraded to Mojave.
I see in the NVIDIA control panel, I no longer have the option
of choosing between NVIDIA web drive and the one with Mac OS.
Does it make a difference? Any harm to installing the High Sierra driver
listed on this site?

Thanks!

Web drivers for Mojave don't exist. The HS versions won't work. The GTX 780 has native support and doesn't need them to function. Certain 27" iMacs from around 7 years ago had the 780m mobile GPU so it is supported in Mojave.

So I should not be losing functionality by using the OS driver, correct?
Should I uninstall the NVIDIA control panel, or just ignore it?

I really appreciate the info, I got nada on the Apple forum!

Hi there.

Yes, for Mojave I would uninstall (IIRC there is that option) the web-drivers and remove everything. The web-drivers offer nothing to Mojave and might even cause problems down the line.

:)
