Hello all,

Recently I managed to successfully install High Sierra (Clover legacy) on my Lenovo Thinkpad T530. Booting the system using my integrated GPU (Intel HD Graphics 4000) goes without a problem, however I want to get the nVidia GPU (NVS5400M) to work as well. I've read the most common problems thread, read several related threads, tried different boot arguments; all without any success..

The problem I'm facing; I cannot get the web driver to load correctly. The Nvidia manager shows the web driver is loaded, however when I take a look at 'About this Mac' it appears as: 'NVIDIA Chip Model 5MB' (see attached file).

I hope any of you may have a possible solution to this problem.

Thanks in advance!

Here you go

EFI/Clover is missing.
Your ioreg shows no Nvidia device on the PCIe bus.
Same in Clover bootlog (extracted from ioreg):

Pardon me, I disabled the discrete graphics. See attached files for updated PR-files.

Assuming you installed the Nvidia web drivers, check status on the menu bar.
You may have an NVRAM problem, or the Nvidia web drivers are not for your Nvidia hardware.

As I wanted to be sure that I downloaded the correct version of the webdriver I installed the driver using this script: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/nvidia-update-simple-way-to-install-nvidia-web-drivers.244987/
I suppose the problem is in the NVRAM, not sure how to solve it though..

The image you attach shows the Nvidia web driver is active (via NVRAM/etc).
My guess is that it has no support for your Nvidia hardware (it is primarily for new Nvidia hardware).

That's a pity, I managed to get it working in previous OS versions (Yosemite) using nvidia webdriver but I guess it's not supported in High Sierra anymore..

You might check that the version requirements in the Info.plist of the Nvidia web driver match the build you're running.

Also, NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext can automatically patch for version mismatch.
