Not getting 4k as an option, 3360x1890 is the max available?

Just got a 4k display, and booting in to OSX, the max resolution available is 3360x1890. Booting in to Windows, I do get 4k so I know the card/cable supports it. Is there a trick to get the native resolution to work?

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB using the NVIDIA drivers.

Using switchresx, it lets me choose 4k - any trick to getting it to show up in the native OSX resolution list or do I just need to stick with switchresx just to be able to run native res?
