Hi guys

Today, I would like to present you a Mod, which I've made about 10 years ago. Of course, it's not able to run OS X, but I think, it could give you some inspiration for your customac minis!

Specs:
-Shuttle Barebone SB61G2
-Pentium 4 3.0GHz
-2GB RAM
-Radeon 9600XT
-Hauppauge TV card
-300GB SATA HDD
-DVD-burner
-Card reader
-Vista Ultimate...

Mods:
-Watercooling for CPU, GPU, Chipset. All coolers except of the CPU cooler are self made.
-Milled, blue illuminated expansion tank.
-CNC-milled side window.
-CNC-milled front plate with two blue illuminated fans
-New USB mount on the bottom
-Feets with blue LED's inside

Today, I took it out of the museum, cleaned the expansion tank and made a test-run. Everything works well. Even after 10 years, but of course it's no rocket anymore.

Nice nice nice!!
Great job there with the water cooling!

Did you mill out all the pieces yourself?

Thank you!

Yes, at my former workplace, I had access to an entire machine park, including a cnc milling machine.

I've designed the whole mods on CAD.

Very nice. I really enjoy seeing work like this... re-engineering at its best. My work from ten years ago does not measure up to this.

Thank you for sharing.

Neil,

Thank you for your kind words. :D

I had the luck, to have access to the right tools. So it's easy to make such a mod.

I've put some additional pics in my first post.

Really like it. Very nice mod to the Shuttle case.

Minihack, thank you.

I think, it's more or less the only Shuttle mod, which has all water cooling components inside and is still not reduced with drive bays and connectors.

wow, still looks great after all these years.
