No Wifi on new Snow leopard installation - HP9770de

Hello,
I'm a newbie on OSX. I managed to install it succesfully om my HP DV9770de Laptop.
All major devices are working. Except for the wifi.
The devices appear to be installed and activated. (I can see an airport in the settings)

Wifi: Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 ABG

There is a airport device and I can see the wireless network that are in the air but what ever I do I can not connect. You should say that if I can see the network the hardware is working, maybe ?? But I even activated a guest network in the router without any security. I can see it and manualy select/configure it, but still no login.

So is there somebody how can help me.

Still not found a solution for the internal wifi but bought a wifi dongle which is working perfect.
So I'm not looking any further. Only the 5G of this dual band is not working. 2.4G is working so it is not that important. The rest is working perfect even with software like protools with hardware emulation drivers..
