Sleep mode renders computer helpless; cannot wake from sleep, must force restart/shutdown.

Any solutions?

Something that has been fooling me about wake from sleep on my setup which might help -

I manually sleep the computer.
Press any key on the Apple keyboard to try to wake the computer - nothing.
Press the power button - the computer just reboots.

BUT
Clicking a USB mouse button wakes up my computer.

I have same problem, I cannot change screen resolution to anything other than native either, not sure if it's related. I have SleepEnabler, GPU is ATI HD5770

I would start at the top...go into BIOS, make sure you have selected S3 sleep and wake from keyboard AND wake from mouse are selected.

If that doesn't help, I would use Search at the top of the page for your motherboard sleep. Make sure there are no - signs in the name.

You can also look in MultiBeast under Drivers & Bootloaders/Miscellaneous for the appropriate kexts such as evOreboot.kext, but do some research before installing to make sure it is a solution for your board.
