Hello guys,

I was trying to install macOS Monterey today, using OpenCore 0.7.5.
It boot well on the installer and everything is going well until I have to select the drive where macOS will be installed.

No SSD are detected at this point. Only the USB key where the installer is (Same using the terminal with "diskutil list").
If anybody have an idea on how to fix it, it is more than welcome

My configuration is:
i7 8700
ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-I
32 GB 2133MHz DDR4
RX570 4B

And I have 3 SSD:
1 NVME: Samsung SSD 980 - 500GB
2 SATA: Samsung SSD 860 EVO - 250GB
SanDisk SDSSDP - 128GB

You will find attached my config.plist.

(Everything is currently working well on BigSur 11.5.2)

first of all you are gonna have problems with the samsung nvme and monterey check the other topics for long boot times and poor performance
try to use NvmExpressDxe.efi driver

1. Open Disk Utility, format the drive as "macOS Extended (Journaled)".
2. When that completes, reboot, and start macOS installation, as before.
3. The installer should find the drive and convert to APFS during installation.
4. Make coffee (or tea), relax, wait.

Finally reseting the Nvram did the work

first of all you are gonna have problems with the samsung nvme and monterey check the other topics for long boot times and poor performance

I have absolutely no issue with my samsung nvme. Maybe this one can be added in the list of supported ones ?

The symptoms of that TRIM issue will not necessarily show for several weeks (or even months). That said, I still haven't seen anything definitive about yours, so maybe you were lucky. NVRAM resets can work magic!
