Damn, audio doesn't work on wake up, only works on reboot. Thoughts? Attached is my ioreg since I believe that would be the only thing different in my config.

Hi tonymacx'ers! Here is my problem:
1. have audio devices but no sound

2. OS: Sierra

MoBo: Asus H270-Plus

BIOS version: idk how to check

proc: 3,79 GHz Intel Core i5

vcard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Any suggestions?

1. Description of audio problem

I see onboard audio devices, but headphones front connector sound is cracking, going on/off and sounds weird.

Green port on the back works fine.

No HDMI / DP sound at the moment (opened a different thread in relevant topic)



2. Specs:

OS Version 10.12.6

Mobo Z270x-UD5

I7-770k

Nvidia GTX 970



3. Method

Installed using multibeast - codec for 1120 + 100 / 200 series audio - got audio devices (mobo only)

Used audio_cloverHDMI-120_v1.0d.command - still no HDMI / DP audio

Tried quick fix method 1 - FakePCIID.kext + FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext

Audio ID: Not supported

FIX, try:

1. https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALCInjection/tree/master/ssdt_hdef/

ssdt_hdef-1-with_ioreg/hdef.zip (or -2 or -3, select View Raw)

2. CLOVER/config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/1 (or 2 or 3)


No system files were changed


8. No sound assertions on console

IOReg does not show a speaker connected to the front panel green connector. Why?

Because at the moment the headphones are connected to the read panel.
This is the only way I can hear sound on the headphones, as the from connection is jittery.... Any solution?

1. Output devices are listet in Sound Pref Pane but no sound is played. Plays (e.g. Spotify) claims “Can’t play current song”. Spotify can play the song when i switch to my sennheiser usb headset output.
