I'm in the same boat. System is up and running with Multibeast 5.0.2 except for sound. I've tried a fresh install and can't seem to get audio to work. The system has audio controls but no output.

[SOLVED] No Sound on Mountain Lion (ALC887) GA-H61M-S2P

I'm in the same boat. System is up and running with Multibeast 5.0.2 except for sound. I've tried a fresh install and can't seem to get audio to work. The system has audio controls but no output.

finally i got it.. did a fresh install.. used newest multibeast (5.0.2).

Was using 4.6.1 before

u have to be exactly sure which chipset u r using.. (i am using alc887, but there is two option,i chose the 'current' one. really depends on ur mother board). and remember, if the patch doesnt work, remove the files u added before trying next patch.
