I have clean install of macOS 10.12.6 Sierra, ASRock Z270M PRO 4 with Realtek ALC892, last BIOS (I think that is P02.00, I don't know...), CPU Core i5 7600k, GPU Nvidia 1050 Ti. All works without problem except sound...

I used multibeast for install, see attachment.

Speakers are connected to green connector, in Windows play without problem, in macOS with VooDooHDA play without problem. Microphone none.

Thank you very much.

edit: DPCImanager not working, it only stops running after it starts and ends immediately.

Solution 1. is working, thank you very much :)

Hi, I'm reporting my "no sound" problem as follows:

1. The only problem is at the onboard digital output (S/PDIF). All others including internal speaker and even HDMI out are working find.
2. My system is HighSierra 10.13.0/Gigabyte GA-H270M-D3H/Bios F6/Kabylake i5 7400/internal graphic HD630
3. I'm using AppleALC.kext+Lilu.kext (I tried CloverALC script and it didn't work too)
4. IOReg & Clover config.plist files are attached. (DPCIManager doesn't run properly)
5. Speaker and the digital output in the same machine is working fine under Windows 10, so the hardware is good.

Thank you for the help!

Is there a red light on the optical cable when not connected?
Connected to what? What are the symptoms? What did you do?

Yes, there is red light from the optical cable when the computer is turned on (even the output selection is an the internal speaker)

It is connected to a speaker set. I tried music by iTunes, used Youtube, etc, all other outputs are functioning well but it looks like there is no sound signal once I switch the selection to the spdif digital output. (the player or youtube is moving normally but just no sound)

I have a Windows 10 installation in this computer at the same time. So I can be sure the hardware is fine as now i can boot Windows and play music via this digital output (with Realtek driver installed).

Thanks!
