My configuration:

GA-Z87X-UD3H
Intel Core i7-4770K
SATA 6Gb/s 1TB HDD
32GB 1600 MHz DDR3
TP-Link PCI Express
Wifi Adapter
Corsair Carbide 500R
Corsair 650 Watt Modular

VT-D is enabled (grayed out), so I couldn't disable it. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my issues.

I have no sound and Safari doesn't work at all!
Since missing safari is what bugs me the most, I've attached a screenshot of safari icon as it appears on my machine (not the usual icon...) and also logged the error when trying to open it:

I would appreciate any light into this.
I have wasted a lot of time to get here but I'm seriously considering returning all parts and go for an easier route: buying directly from Apple.

Thanks,
Jon

To fix the safari issue I would suggest creating a new unibeast flash drive and do a fresh install.

For sound just install alc 898?

Hope this helps,

Jan

Thanks to janeman1811, I've created a new unibeast flash drive, did a fresh install and fixed safari issue.
Also installed alc 898. With a headset I can hear that the sound works. Now just need to get a speaker to keep it plugged in.

Cheers.
