Hi everyone
I have Yosemite running on my Inspiron n5010. Everything is running fine except the graphics card. In earlier versions of OSX I had to force EDID of my display to make the graphics work. Then it worked perfectly with the native graphics kexts. This time around this trick didn't work. I couldn't get my laptop to boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, it got stuck on a black screen.
After that I tried installing the kexts from Mavericks that worked for me. Now the system boots with GE=Yes and I get correct resolution but no QE/CI.
I am attaching the snapshots of the kexts that are getting loaded and the Graphics tab from System Report.
Please suggest a way to get this working. Any help will be appreciated.
