[Solved] No network Atheros 8151, how to switch drivers after multibeast 8?
I'm so confused. Yes, I got the system working but without internet.
I'm trying out kext drivers.. But when I installed the e2200 that came with Multibeast 8 .. nothing happened. Its in the /library/extensions directory but are these files loaded?
In the past installations kext files were just situated in /system/library/extensions. Now I see there is yet another folder with kext files: /library/extensions. What is the difference?
And if they were loaded but simply didn't work, how do I remove it? I have a Atheros Ar8151 ethernet card. The system profiler says that there is no network device in the system. But there is..
Also, when exploring, I found out that the same Atheros e2200 kext driver is put on the drive's EFI partition. Do i need to remove that one as well?
Thanks in advance
