Both displays (one 1440p monitor and one 1080p TV) work fine if they are connected single to the computer. But when I connect both simultanelously the Apple logo disappears halfway through boot, the screen on the Dell goes black, then a very distorted image appears, mostly it's blue but this could be due to the color of my wallpaper. I can see the pointer at the top but can't do anything.

Hot plugging a display doesn't work, the computer wont recognize it. Anyone know what is up?

edit 1: Ignore this. I found the relevant fixes already. Thanks for all the guides!
edit 2: No, its not working. I added the Pike R Alpha kext fix. When I hotplugged my TV both displays went black :( I had to reboot.

And now Clover wont open my config.plist. Did TextEdit save it in some bad format?

edit3: fixed the corrupt config.plist

I had exact same issue. My experience is that first you connect DVI, then hot-plug HDMI will get dual display working, but it's too boring, I bought a second hand HD5770 to solve the problem.
