No mic working after sierra update

I have my Dell 7537 running 10.12.3 (updated via Appstore) which was running 10.11.6 perfectly with full functionality
but after 10.12.3 update built in mic not working

Are you using patched AppleHDA?
If so, did you re-patch it based on new 10.12.3 AppleHDA?

actually i did was installed your latest kext and inserted your new kext to patch in clover

Make sure you re-create AppleHDA_ALC283.kext with the patch_hda.sh script.

since i have same codec as your lenovo U430 i used your alc 283 kext????

My u430 guide actually doesn't use that kext... it uses a different technique for patching...
Plus the u430 guide is for 10.11, not 10.12 (although it mostly works for 10.12).
As a result, I'm not updating the kext...

patch_hda.sh script in the u430 rep will create the AppleHDA_ALC283.kext from native AppleHDA.kext in /S/L/E.
