No matter what I do: Cannot enable Native AppleHDA on 10.12.x on Gigabyte x99 ud4

For now stuck with VoodooHDA 2.8.9 which is OK but once certain applications are installed green audio jack goes out and I am forced to use spdif out.

Wondering if there is any way to enable native applehda audio?

My audio codec is alc 1150.

I have tried 2 methods:

This did not work for me no matter what I tried. Followed instructions to a T. Can see audio devices, just no sound.

2nd method is the AppleALC.kext method outlined here:

this seems a lot easier as it sounds like you just copy appleALC.kext to clover kexts and set audio layout to 1. This does not work either. Also added Lilu.Kext to no avail. Can't even see any audio devices.

What gives?

Other people with this codec have made it work easily. Me? Not so much. Any ideas?

should I get appleHDA kext from 10.9 and apply patch like in this video:

Thanks! Tried a different method today, and was finally able to get full audio support, but your provided ssdt enabled HDMI audio, which I will add as well. Thanks! Going to update my guide!
