No longer able to boot. Circle with line through at boot.

I'm unable to boot to a previously working hackintosh build running El Capitan. I installed it using clover. When I attempt to boot, verbose mode ends with "still waiting for root device" and a white circle with a line through it; Looks like a cancel sign. I tried using the installer USB to boot my hard drive but that doesn't work. I still get the same error. However, booting to the installer works.


I've tried the USBBuxFix and USBLegacyOff in the boot flags and that changes nothing. pls help

OMG just last night, out of literally nowhere, I had the very same problem.

No updates, no changes of any kind.

Now in the process of troubleshooting.

Any info on how you solved this would be appreciated!
