Hello all,

I have an Asus P6t board (BIOS) that is successfully tri booted with OSX 10.13, Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10. There are 2 minor issues I'm trying to work out.

1. Keyboard does not work on the clover bootloader screen unless I attach it with a hub.
2. Mouse vertical movement is reversed

Clover is installed to MBR and is being used in a hybrid layout to UEFI boot all 3 OSs. This motherboard only support USB 2.0. I've tried playing with the legacy mode setting in the BIOS.

The keyboard is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002CE0XO/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
The hub is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001DBF07S/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

I have also tried putting UsbKbDxe-64.efi in drivers64 and cd-booting older versions of clover.

I suspect that the keyboard might work if I were to spoof the USB device ID to match that of the hub but not sure how to do that. If I boot with the keyboard plugged directly into the mobo, all three OSs still detect it fine. The only time the keyboard is unresponsive is while in the Clover bootloader.

For Clover I'm using boot0af in the MBR, boot1f32 in the PBR, and until this point, boot6 at the root of the EFI partition. I'm trying boot7 now, but its hanging with a blank screen and frozen cursor after it flashes the "7" on startup.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

UPDATE:

boot7 was hanging due to having a SATA DVD Burner plugged in. Not sure why, but unplugging it let Clover finish booting. The keyboard worked in this mode, but mouse did not (which makes sense as mice generally aren't supported in non UEFI boards).

The problem then is that the NvmExpress driver was loading but it wasn't detecting any drives. Came across this ticket: https://sourceforge.net/p/cloverefiboot/tickets/376/

So it looks like I have an easy choice between:

1. boot6 which only has keyboard support with a hub, and an inverted vertical mouse axis
2. boot7 which means my OS filesystems don't show up, and the mouse doesn't work.
Unless maybe there is a driver in boot7 that I can pull out.

@krackajak, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard (Mobo), CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card.
