Hello:
I cannot edit photos in iPhoto, or see slideshows in Keynote, or start iMovie. "About this Mac" shows 0 video ram - unless I open Iphoto first on boot, then it shows 512mb video ram.
I'm using the recommended budget build, GA-B75M-D3P motherboard with the core-i5-3520k and onboard graphics. In the bios I set graphical memory to 1024, the maximum possible.
My multibeast settings (these are the options checked when running multi beast):
1. Easybeast
2. Video: NVIDIA GTX470/480/560T1 10.8.0 OPENCL ENABLER
3. Network: REALTECH GIGABYTE
4. Audio: ALC887/888b v100302
5. Misc: disk trim enabler
Bootflags:
GraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=0 -x -v
The machine runs very nicely, but when I try to edit a photo in iphoto, it is all black, and imovie won't start - complains about vram - and keynote won't show slidehows.
Suggestions appreciated. Do I just need to use a video card?
