No Image / Sound on First Boot

Hello peoples
New guy here with a question that some of you might be sick of answering...
I just finished putting together the computer and everything turns on and seems to be working fine, yet i dont have any picture on the display or beeping sounds when booting, also the fans on the graphics card wont spin although power is connected AND card is sitting properly in 16pin connector.
i tried pulling the battery out for 5min with all power off and got nothing, ive tried a multiple boots, only one stick of RAM, essentials only boot but nada, checked all connections and made sure CPU was on properly...
Ive spent hours trying to find the answer, could it be that i just have a bad card?
-Intel Core i7-2600K
-Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
-AMD Radeon HD 6870
-50watt Corsair 6

Ok, either you made a mistake with all the connectors from the Frontpanel through your Mainboard, or you missed one Power Cable from your PSU through your AMD Radeon HD 6870. That GFX Card needs 2 x 6Pin Power Connectors.

just quadruple checked everything and it seems to be properly connected, i tried plugging in an old ATI Radeon HD 2600XT 256MB PCIe Video Card fans spun but no luck getting an image either....

p.s. monitor and cables work, tested them on another computer

I want to say, with your CPU or Ram isn't seated properly or the right wires aren't hooked up. Or you may have a bad MotherBoard.
