Hello, I made a new hackintosh with the actual buyers-guide:

Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H
OSX: 10.10.1

MultiBeast Configuration

Quick Start > DSDT Free
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC1150
Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party SATA
Drivers > Disk > Intel Generic AHCI SATA
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.11.1328
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.11.1328 Plugins
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.11.1328 HWMonitor Application
Drivers > Misc > PS/2 Keyboard/Mice and Trackpads
Drivers > Network > Atheros > AtherosE2200Ethernet v1.0.0
Drivers > Network > Intel > AppleIntelE1000e v3.1.0---->fixed!!!!!
Bootloaders > Chimera v4.0.1
Customize > Boot Options > Basic Boot Options
Customize > Boot Options > Hibernate Mode - Desktop
Customize > Boot Options > Kext Dev Mode
Customize > Boot Options > Use KernelCache
Customize > System Definitions > Mac Pro > Mac Pro 3,1
Customize > Themes > tonymacx86 Black

I also installed the Startech 3 Port FireWire PCI Express Card (PEX1394B3).

The system is working very fine. Sleep mode works also very smooth! The only problem ist the fw-card: Harddiscs are only recognized by the system when they are plugged in before the hackintosh starts up. When the system is running and you plug in a fw-device nothing happens.

Is there a way to get hot-plug with this special card and my mainboard? systeminfo.png

I have heard that there is software to restart the Audio-Device after sleep mode. Is there something like that for PCI devices?

Hey !

We got the same FW card. Since I'm on 10.10.5, the FW devices are only recognized if they're turned on before I start the Hackintosh. With 10.10.4 I didn't have to do that. Did you find a solution ?

No. There is no other solution for me. You have to activate the devices before the system starts
