Classic Mac

Mobile Phone

So this is my build:
-HP ProBook 4530s
-CPU: i7 2670QM
-RAM: 8GB DDR3
-HD3000 Graphics
-500GB HDD
-HP Antheros AR5B195

What I tick (from memory, so there might be more):
-i7 Sandy Bridge Quad Core
-ProBook 4x30s
-Kext Wizard
-Chameleon Wizard
-Antheros fix
-USB 3.0 fix
-Quiet fan
-Fan reset (I've tried with and without this)
-Old Kext Remover
-Display all files

What is NOT working:
-Sound. For some reason when I go to sound it cannot detect my speakers at all. It can only detect the AppleTV.

-Hot Keys. None of the hot keys work, such as the sleep, dim, brighter, lock, mute, etc.

-Battery has an x over it. It still runs, but it doesn't know when it's going to run out of battery.

What is working:
-Basically everything else. I have wifi and no graphics glitches as far as I can tell. I can get to the app store and navigate the system.

What I use:
-Mavericks 10.9.1 app
-HP ProBook installer 6.1.12
-UniBeast 3.0.1

I'm not sure why those things are not working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

You did not create a patched DSDT correctly. Make sure you read and follow the guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook-mavericks/112380-guide-installing-mavericks-hp-probook.html

I thought I had. I will re-install from that link and will post later if I still need help. Thanks

You don't need to re-install, but you do need to select the correct options for patching DSDT. Pay special attention to the DSDT section of step 14.

Is the guide fine with the 10.9.1 app or does it need to be 10.9 and then update to 10.9.1?

Either way. If you do 10.9 then update after, be sure to follow the instructions for updating.

I tried redoing the DSDT and I made special attention to the portion 14 of the guide. When I checked to see if there was a /Extra/DSDT.aml there was none. Now once I ran the installer again all I get is the /Extra/SSDT.aml but still no /Extra/DSDT.aml and the battery, output sound and hot keys are still not functioning.

Is there something else I'm missing?

Show what you are selecting in the ProBook Installer. If you run it now, selecting the items you previously selected will show Update instead of Install. You must not be selecting the correct options to generate a DSDT.

And yet you still don't have a DSDT in /Extra/dsdt.aml?

Compress and post your /var/log/install.log.
