Yes, including NewWay fixes.
It is in the place you copied the attached AppleHDA.kext from.

Ok Yikes! It won't boot now. I must have messed up something. I just get the white circle with the line through is now. Am I screwed? Do I have to re-install everything? I'm pretty sure I followed those instructions closely.

Sorry to be a bother!

Toleda you made my week! Thank you so much for your help!

Cannot get "Clover Patched Realtek ALC Audio" working.

Always get Audio ID 66 ?

Under Mavericks with MultiBeast plus MultiBeast Audio Solutions - Supplemental, Audio is working.

Any help would be much appreciated.

OS X 10.10.1/Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P/BIOS FFb/Q9550 Core 2 Quad/NVIDIA 8800 GTS 512MB

AppleHDA is 267

I. No Output Devices Found

  1. Chimera/Chameleon/Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist
    1. Mandatory Add: Kernel Flags/kext-dev-mode=1
      1. MultiBeast 7.0 and newer/Drivers/Customize/ Boot Options/Kext Dev Mode
    2. Remove Kernel Flags/npci=0x3000

Thanks you so much. I've been working for few days on a GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3P that was causing Yosemite not to find an Output Device. I followed your simple steps and got it to work within minutes!
THANKS

Hi Toleda/et al, I'm having problems with my X99-SOC FORCE build in getting the audio to work. I followed the guide on P.23 of the X99 thread and still no luck--I feel like I'm missing a step.

1) No devices shown in System Preferences
2) 10.10.1/Gigabyte X99-SOC Force/latest/5930K/GTX980
3) Toleda's post on P.23 of X99 guide

Using Clover and everything else works nicely. Let me know if you need anything else attached. Thanks much!

script reported lots of errors; config.plist is damaged; remove and replace.
All config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes are true, disables audio; set to False.
Reply with new config.plist

I started a completely clean Clover config--only removed the ACPI fixes as recommended. Machine boots to the desktop fine--now what?

Thanks!
