Hello Toleda

I needs help if is possible for enable the onboard audio ... adds the required data for your analisys

Troubles for fix
No audio codec detected
No HDEF section present on IORegistryExplorer
No HDSA section present on IORegistryExplorer
No AZAL section present on IORegistryExplorer

Present on the IORegistryExplorer as pci8086,1d20@1B

My attempt
I attempted add the section HDEF using this guide https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALCInjection/blob/master/[Guide]-Add_HDEF-Clover.pdf that basicaly is
1 - From the BIOS the codec audio is AZAL then from the config.plist —> ACPI —> Patches adds the patch “changes AZAL to HDEF”
2 - config.plist —> ACPI —> Fixes adds “AddDTGP_0001 and FixHDA_8000
3 - config.plist —> Devices —> Audio —> Inject 1

and i had not luck

I not use Windows but i did a fresh install with windows and the audio onboard works
Previously i had installed the Mavericks and onboard audio worked

Reset codec: no luck

Ideas?

892: see Quick Fix: 200 Series/Kaby Lake Audio
Install fix, restart, reply with new files

HDMI: HDMI Audio AppleHDA/cloverHDMI

Thank you for the suggestions! Just some questions (Sorry I'm new to this whole thing) Do I need to follow both of the posted suggestions or just pick one and see if it works? Also, the first suggestion (Quick Fix: 200 Series/Kaby Lake Audio) do I choose one out of the 3 solutions listed (I know it say "Select and install one solution only" but I just wanted to make sure. Lastly, if the chosen solution doesn't work is there a way to revert the changes made? Again I appreciate all the help! Thanks!

Yes, one solution only.

1. Remove kexts, 2. Remove patch, etc.

Okay thanks, I'm going to use Kext Beast to install the 2 FakePCIID kexts. Question is where do I install them: /Library/Extensions OR /System/Library/Extensions? Thanks!

Okay so I followed both the 892 fix and the HDMI fix. I chose to use the first option for the HDMI audio fix (Clover Audio Fix).
After I installed the 892 fix my system was able to recognize that I have headphones plugged in. However, when I tried to play audio I couldn't hear anything and when I raised or lowered the volume all I could hear were faint clicks. As for the HDMI fix, I ran the shell script and said yes to everything except the AMD/Nvidia part as I don't have either one of those cards. After I rebooted the machine my resolution was super high and everything was really small. I checked the audio in the "Sound" settings and no device was detected for digital audio. I did attach the script output if you would like to view that.

Question is, how do I revert the changes from installing the HDMI patch? I did copy my config.plist file before doing the patch and I also noticed the there is a config.plist backup on in my EFI folder. Would it be possible to just restore one of those configs or are there other steps I need to take to remove the patch? I will try to test the 892 audio with actual speakers tomorrow just to see if it could have been the headphones and not the config.

**Edit: After pressing shutdown the system wouldn't turn off like it normally did. Now it sits at a green screen and won't turn off. I had to hard shutdown the system.
