Worked, I now have output devices.

The key for me following all of the Multibeast steps you:

MultiBeast Realtek ALC AppleHDA
1. config edit to inject 1
2. selected *892
3. selected 100 series
build
works. bam. awesome.

Add the 10.9-10.11-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC885 (Optional) patch from Post #2586.
Restart, reply with new files.

Hey. Im not sure how to do that. Please elaborate.

EDIT: Used Multibeast and it seemed to have done the trick. Will upload files shortly

How do I do that? I am using EFI mounter and mounting the partition, finding the config.plist file and posting it.

Can you give step by step instructions please? Im not sure how to proceed.

I hope I'm doing this right:

1. Description of audio problem

Motherboard audio not showing up.

2. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics

MacOS X 10.12.2, 16C67/
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming/
BIOS: 1904 x64 07/05/2016/
CPU: i7 67OOK/
MSi GTX 750Ti
3. Procedure/Guide Used

Multibeast, checking both the 1150 driver and the 100-series Audio,
and see the patches are being applied in my CLOVER/config.plist

4. Audio/ALC Injection (Tools 3.)

Code:
File: audio_codecdetect.command_v2.1

HDMI audio codec(s)

Onboard audio codec
Realtek: 0x10ec0900

OS X/10.12.2 Onboard Audio
Device: HDEF@1F,3
Audio ID: 1

Valid audio codec, audio device and Audio ID; audio injection is working
Finished

[edit - revised above output after following suggestion #2, "Audio/Inject/1", but that still doesn't enable audio]

5. Copy of IOReg (Tools 2./1.)

Attached, filename Hexa-AudioIOREG.ioreg

6. System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

Should I attach this? The version is 278.56

7. System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDAxxx.kext

Nothing there

8. Console/All Messages/kernel Sound Assertions

Neither "kernel" or "sound" show up in the Console log >> All messages

9. Screen shots - attached

10 / 11 N/A I think - I used Clover / Multibeast

12. Clover
1. config.plist attached
2. DPCIManager/Misc/Boot Log - attached
3. dsdt.aml - not installed
4. ssdt.aml - not installed

Thanks for all your help in this forum!
